I have been listening to this song ever since it came out and it makes me feel a certain way. I described it to my husband like this: “Have you ever been bursting with rage on behalf of your ancestors?”. It is a really neat song about how historically, women have been made to fullfill many roles in society and are also devalued for their contributions.
